Being a Creative Contribution

Revelation #849

More than making a contribution for the greatest good, I want to BE a contribution. Being and doing are different for me, although my Being does affect what I do, that is, the actions I take. One good  thing I get to be is consistent with this blog, in sharing my art with the world beyond my home and desk and art table.  Being that kind of contribution along with being Love in all that I say/do/feel/think/create & intend are the two wisest choices I can make today. And so it is!

Keep the Conversation Going

Earlier last week, I initiated a power prayer circle by inviting some friends to explore this question with me for 30 days: What is the wisest choice I can make today to change and set my life on the path of greatest self expression for the greater good?  This blog is one answer to that question.

And then I took Landmark Education's Access to Power communications course this past weekend, and suddenly my life has gotten bigger. Truth be told, it was already big and has been waiting for me to simply live into it, consistently.

Now knowing I AM as fully self expressed as I say I am and as I choose to be, my guiding question for this month is this: What is the wisest choice I can make today on this path of greatest self expression for the greater good? It's amazing what a little editing can do.

I Found It!

 I FOUND IT!

Today I made a declaration to the Universe to play a bigger game of life by getting my artwork out in the world. It's been stuck in my home, on my walls, in my files and journals and sketchbooks for far too long. I keep thinking about a comment Oprah made to our recent ascended ancestor, Maya Angelou, regarding all the art she had "put out in the world." It feels now that I have a responsibility not only to myself but to Spirit, to share with the world that which comes through me that is divine and beautiful and full of the light of love.

So, I'm following Wisdom's divine guidance today and starting this Blog, although I am totally green and new to this way of expression. I can't even figure out all the settings here! Yet I choose to release my perfectionist tendencies re: how this should look or what it should say, etc., and just LET GO. SHARE from my heart. AND WATCH the magic happen.

My first love offering is the profile pic--is that what you call it?--i.e., the drawing of the baby. I saw this picture years ago on the Internet and my heart flew open with awe and desire to recreate it via a pencil drawing. If anyone knows or knows of the original photographer, please let me know. It's as much a homage to him/her as it is an expression of reverence for life in one of its most "premature" stages.

My second love offering today is another pencil drawing I was guided to post on Facebook this morning. This drawing also evolved out of awe and respect for all that is possible for us when we dare to stretch ourselves above and beyond physical/mental/emotional challenges. Enjoy!

This is my first blog, although I wrote something about 1/2 hour okay while setting up this blog.  I have no idea where it is now, but will go a-hunting for it and will re-post what was written and offered straight away.
