Week 2, Book #2

as stated in my last post, i'm taking myself on this year and committing to make a book a week. i've been so consumed that i almost forgot to post this week's creation. and then there's the issue of learning how to make short videos with my phone. it's like learning how to make decent meringue for a lemon pie. practice, practice, practice.

but i digress. 

my intention last week was to make a round book, but a box book was born instead. i like the idea of a book with 6 covers that function altogether as a prelude to the story within. i used tissue paper, cotton, ribbon, beads and magazine clippings. it's 2" around---little and cuddly enough to easily fit in your hand. and since every book deserves a title, i'll crown this one "Beyond the Green Framed Windows." enjoy.
